Roof Insulation
Roof insulation that keeps the warmth where it belongs.
Professional roof insulation for pitched and flat roofs: less heat loss, lower energy bills and a home that stays comfortable in winter and summer.

Why insulate the roof first.
The roof is usually the largest surface of a house exposed to the outside. Insulating it is the most effective first step of any energy renovation, and it makes the rooms under the roof genuinely usable all year.
Reduces heat loss
Warm air rises. An insulated roof stops it leaving the house through the largest cold surface.
Lowers energy bills
Less heat loss means the boiler or heat pump runs less to keep the same temperature.
Improves thermal comfort
Rooms under the roof stay warm in winter without cold spots or draughts.
Improves summer protection
The insulation layer slows the heat of the sun, so attic rooms stay livable in summer.
Reduces environmental impact
Lower energy demand means lower emissions for as long as the house stands.
Increases property value
A well-insulated roof improves the energy label and the appeal of your home.

How we insulate a roof.
A roof only performs when every layer does its job. We build the complete system, not just the insulation.
Between and under the rafters
Insulation fitted tightly between the rafters, with an extra layer underneath where the thickness allows.
Vapour control and airtightness
A taped vapour control layer on the warm side keeps moisture out of the construction and stops air leaks.
Underlay and ventilation
We check the underlay and ventilation so the roof stays dry for decades.
Finishing
Plasterboard or timber finishing, ready for paint, so the attic becomes a real room.
Flat roofs
Warm roof build-ups with PIR insulation and a new waterproof covering when the roof is renewed.
Materials chosen for your roof, not from a catalogue.
Mineral wool, PIR, wood fibre or a combination: each has its place. The right choice depends on the available thickness, the roof structure, the level of summer protection you want and the finishing you have in mind. We explain the options in plain language and recommend one.

Our Process
From first visit to final inspection.
- 01
Site Assessment
We inspect the building and determine the most suitable insulation solution.
- 02
Technical Proposal
We recommend the correct insulation system, materials and finishing.
- 03
Professional Installation
Our team carries out the insulation work carefully and efficiently.
- 04
Final Inspection
We verify the installation and finishing before completing the project.
Roof insulation questions
Which roof insulation material is best?
It depends on the roof. Mineral wool is a versatile choice between rafters, PIR boards offer high performance in limited thickness, and wood fibre adds summer heat protection. We advise the right system after the site assessment.
Can the roof be insulated from the inside?
Yes. Most pitched roofs are insulated from the inside between and under the rafters, combined with a vapour control layer and an airtight finish. If the roof covering is being replaced, insulating from the outside is also possible.
How long does roof insulation take?
A typical attic is insulated in a few working days, depending on the surface area, the access and the level of finishing you choose.
Does roof insulation need ventilation?
A correctly built roof stays dry through the right combination of an underlay, a ventilated cavity where required and a vapour control layer on the warm side. We include this in every proposal.
